"When we form heart-centered beliefs within our bodies, in the language of physics we’re creating the electrical and magnetic expression of them as waves of energy, which aren’t confined to our hearts or limited by the physical barrier of our skin and bones. So clearly we’re speaking to the world around us in each moment of every day through a language that has no words: the belief-waves of our hearts. Heart-focused, sincere, positive feeling states boost the immune system, while negative emotions can suppress the immune response for up to six hours." Scientist Gregg Braden of HeartMath Institute
To activate a heart based positive feeling the key is to focus and breath as you recall a time you felt good inside and try to re-experience the feeling. Take two or three appreciation breaks each day, ideally in early morning, at work, or before bed. Simply follow these steps: As you recall a time that made you feel good inside take 5 or 6 deeper than normal breaths in and 5 or 6 deep breaths out for two minutes. It will help you achieve to achieve mental, emotional and physical balance.

Remember a special place or the love you feel for a close friend, relative or treasured pet. As you think about the person, place, or pet - take 5 or 6 deeper than normal breaths in, hold for a count of seven, and take 5 or 6 deep breaths out.
Make a list of things you appreciate such as people, places, activities and pets and choose one or two each morning to hold in your heart during the day. Choose one to hold in your heart throughout the night while you rest. While you hold these appreciations use the breath technique - 5 or 6 deeper than normal breaths in, hold for a count of seven, and then take 5 or 6 deep breaths out.
Keep your Appreciation List close by all day, perhaps in a pocket or purse, at your desk or computer. In stressful moments, choose something from your list that can quickly evoke a feeling of appreciation: It can transform a long and stressful day into one that flows — amazingly in 30 seconds or less.
